As an Installation Manager at NCC, you play a key role in our most exciting projects. Here, you are involved from the initial idea to final delivery, and your technical expertise is crucial in creating smart, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions. The Role of Installation Manager As an Installation Manager, you have overall responsibility for coordinating installation work throughout the entire project – from bidding and design to production and handover. You drive and coordinate technical solutions with a focus on quality, efficiency, and constructability. In the early stages, you participate in bidding and design, working with system solutions, calculations, procurement, and coordination of installation disciplines in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. During production, you act as an installation coordinator on the construction site, supporting site organization, coordinating contractors, monitoring costs, and handling variation orders (ÄTA). You ensure that installations are carried out according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements, as well as that functional tests and final documentation are performed correctly. The role requires good technical understanding, financial acumen, and the ability to create a holistic view and structure in complex projects. Your Profile as Installation Manager To be successful in the role of Installation Manager, we see that you have experience from the field with a background such as consultant, contractor, or project manager, preferably with a background in Electrical, HVAC, or Building Automation. You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant post-secondary education, or alternatively several years of experience with installations on construction sites. An important part of the role is the ability to use digital tools effectively, so good digital skills are a requirement. As a person, you have a business-minded approach and are looking for a role where you have the opportunity to lead and drive development in the installation field forward. You are idea-rich and have a strong drive to push projects toward set goals. You have a good ability to work independently and in a structured manner, you are flexible, and you also enjoy working in a team. Building good contacts both internally at NCC and externally is a success factor for you. You are fluent in Swedish in speech and writing and have good knowledge of English. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities and your ability to collaborate. Additional Information The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probation period. The workplace is NCC's office in Borlänge or Uppsala, but the work may also be located at one of our larger projects in the greater Stockholm area. The role involves work in various projects within the division's geographical area. A B-driver's license is a requirement as some travel will occur.
